New Zealand Diploma in Business (Leadership and Management) (Level 5)

Duration: 36 Weeks (1 Academic Year)

This programme is:

Aimed at those students who want to develop knowledge in Leadership and Management in New Zealand business context.
To prepare students for junior to middle management/leadership positions at an operational level within New Zealand business entities.

Outcomes:

On successful completion of this programme Graduates will:

  • Know what is required to be a leader, a manager and what is required to run a sustainable business in New Zealand.
  • Be able to produce professional workplace communication, including workplace documentation such as business and strategic plans, management action plans, procedures and policies.

 

Entry Requirements:

Students must be 17 years of age or older and have successfully completed the New Zealand Year 12 Secondary Schooling or international equivalent; or hold a qualification at level 2 or above in any field or have at least two years’ work experience in a business or related field.

English Language Entry Requirements for international students where English is not their first language, students must have IELTS 5.5 with no band less than 5.0; or an equivalent as approved and set out in the NZQA Programme Approval and Accreditation Rules.

Visa opportunity:

Students will have up to one year student  visa along with work permit of 20 hours weekly.
