National Diploma in Computing (Level 5)

AWI - International Education Group offers the National Diploma in Computing (Level 5) as a one-year course completed in 30 weeks of full time study.
The course provides a thorough grounding in both technical and organizational aspects of computing. The course structure and unit credits are such that students will graduate with specialization in Computer Support. Units also cover: Computer Management, Computer Operations, Programming and non-technical areas relevant to computing including: Ethics, Professionalism, and the Role of Computing in Business.
This is a comprehensive stand alone course designed for graduates who either wish to enter the workforce, or proceed to a higher level such as the Level 6 course.

Entry Requirements: Completion of Year 12 with good credits from home country, computer experience at an application user level such as MS Office, an IELTS minimum of 5.5 or English language skills measured by AWI placement test for the National Diploma in Computing.
Note: if necessary, tuition for English as a second language is available at AWI for foreign students.
Visa Opportunities: The students of this course will have up to one year of the student visa with work permit of 20 hours weekly. After graduating the course the students will have the opportunity to request the student job search visa which allows to working full time.
