National Diploma in Computing (Level 6)

AWI - International Education Group offers the National Diploma in Computing (Level 6) as a one or two years course of full time study. Options are available for specialization in either Computer Operations or Software Development – Programming. The first year of the course is a described for the National Diploma in Computing (Level 5).
The course prepares students for further tertiary studies or for employment in an IT development role in an organization. The important subjects sought by employers of: Software Testing and Documentation, Data and System Security. Project Management and Control are included in the course. Non-technical subjects relevant to computing include: Business Principles and Group and Presentation Skills.

Entry Requirements: As for the National Diploma in Computing (Level 5). Year two entry is available for students holding the National Diploma in Computing (Level 5) or equivalent. an IELTS minimum of 5.5 or English language skills measured by AWI placement test for the National Diploma in Computing.
Note: if necessary, tuition for English as a second language is available at AWI for foreign students.


Visa Opportunities: The students of this course will have up to one or two years of the student visa with work permit of 20 hours weekly. After graduating the course the students will have the opportunity to request the student job search visa which allows to working full time.
